Since 1986 William M. Lewis has been Director of the Center for Limnology at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES). He is also a Fellow of CIRES, and a Professor in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at University of Colorado-Boulder. William's field of specialization is inland waters, including lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands.
