Jessica Weinkle is a PhD student in the Environmental Studies Program with
a secondary core in Policy. While working on her MA in Climate and Society
at Columbia University she became interested in natural hazards and risk
perception and communication. She has come to Colorado to continue to
pursue those interests. She is also considering studying for her
elementary education certificate while attending the University. Jessica
did her undergraduate work in zoology at the University of Texas at Austin.
