Kimberly Kosmenko is the sustainability program manager at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR). She joined UCAR in 2008 as the first sustainability professional in the organization, and is responsible for coordinating a wide range of strategic sustainability initiatives. Current efforts include: greenhouse gas inventory management, developing sustainability metrics, investigating renewable energy options, recycling and composting, alternative transportation, energy management and social marketing to encourage conservation behaviors.

Prior to joining UCAR, Kimberly was a program manager for a land conservation nonprofit where she was engaged in restoration project management, leadership training and community outreach. Kimberly holds a masters degree in environmental science and policy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a green building certificate from Colorado State University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
