Kristin Gangwer is a master’s student in Geography and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Science and Technology Policy Research. Her research interests focus on human-environment interactions, land-use, sustainable rangeland management, place-based conservation, and the human impacts of drought, primarily in the western United States. Kristin received her B.A. in Anthroplogical Sciences from Stanford University and worked for
National Geographic magazine in Washington, D.C. before moving to Boulder.
