Before coming to study at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Fall of 2011, Lucy spent time in Hamburg, Germany on a Fulbright scholarship and worked at the German Consulate in Chicago, Illinois. This past summer Lucy worked at the University of Hamburg’s climate change campus, where she conducted research for her Masters thesis on e-waste governance. Broadly, Lucy is interested in the nexus of environmental justice, development and political ecology at the international level. For her PhD research, she is exploring transboundary movements and governance of e-waste, particularly between India and the USA. She also enjoys pottery in her free time.
