Michael received his bachelors degree in Meteorology in 2001 and his Masters degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences in 2006. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science at the University of Colorado. Mike started work at NCAR in the Research Applications Laboratory as a student in 1999 and as an associate scientist in 2001. He currently works on Quality Assessment of aviation weather forecasts at NOAA/ESRL/GSD as a Meteorologist contracted through CIRES. Other interests include chasing thunderstorms, golf, skiing, fishing, and getting bossed around by his three little girls. |
