Qian Ye is a project scientist with CCB and focuses on issues related to the social and economic impacts of climate and climate change. He has been leading a research team with the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences to develop a research program within the China Meteorological Administration with Mickey. He is also promoting the Climate Affairs program at various universities in China, and he is leading an international research team to conduct as assessment of the WMO Forecasting Demonstration Program for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
His research interests include climate impacts in marginal areas, including the arid and semiarid lands of Central Asia and the coastal areas of the Pan-Pacific region.
