Rebecca Johnson is an electric industry consultant working on renewable energy integration in the West. She engages with electricity providers, federal agencies, state regulators, public interest groups, and other stakeholders to develop and deploy market, technical, and policy strategies to reliably and cost effectively integrate renewable energy resources into the operation of the bulk electric system.
Rebecca’s prior experience includes work for the Western Interstate Energy Board (WIEB), the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, the University of Colorado-National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI), and the University of Colorado Center for Science and Technology Policy Research. Rebecca holds an M.B.A., an M.S. in Environmental Studies, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies.
