U.S. Science Policy refers to the interactions of scientists and their public and private patrons. Typically, in the U.S. , it refers to decisions made by the federal government about funding, goals, mechanisms and organization of myriad agencies that enlist science in support of their missions in the national interest. More broadly, it refers to science-related decisions in the private sector, and at other levels of government, and
the interactions between them.
