Myanna Lahsen obtained her primary education in Denmark and France, and her secondary education in the US, completing a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology at Rice University in 1998. Myanna's primary affiliation is with the University of Colorado’s Center for Science and Technology Policy Research where she is a Research Scientist while residing in Brazil to carry out a 3-year National Science Foundation grant focused on the (geo)politics associated with the Large-Scale Biosphere Experiment in Amazonia (LBA). The LBA is an international environmental science experiment examining the Amazon region’s role in global environmental change, and vice versa. Most Recent Publications
