CSTPR Grad Student David Cherney was awarded The 2010 McDougal Prize of the Society for Policy Science

October 20, 2010

David Cherney was awarded the The 2010 McDougal Prize of the Society for Policy Science for his article (co-authored with Susan G. Clark), The American West’s Longest Large Mammal Migration: Clarifying and Securing the Common Interest. This article was published in Policy Sciences.

The Society awards three prizes. These awards are named for Harold D. Lasswell and Myres S. McDougal, the founders of the policy sciences. Like the Lasswell and McDougal Prizes, the Society Student Paper Prize is for exemplary work in the policy sciences. All three prizes will be awarded each Autumn at the Annual Policy Sciences Institute, and awardees are expected to discuss their prize winning entry at the Institute. Graduate and professional students are eligible, as are untenured professors and others who have completed their formal education within the past seven years.
