Revamping of Prometheus
August 4th, 2008Posted by: Ami Nacu-Schmidt
We are pleased to announce that a new, updated and much overdue version of Prometheus has been released today. Because we have converted to a new publishing platform, everyone who wishes to make a comment on a post will now need to re-register. To re-register you need to simply:
(1) Click on the “Log in” link located in the right hand box under the Prometheus heading.
(2) Click on the “Register” link located under the user name and password boxes.
(3) Fill out the username, email and CAPTCHA boxes. You will receive an email with your password shortly. Please note: you can change your password by logging into your account and clicking on your username located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
If you have any comments or questions please feel free to send an email to info@sciencepolicy.colorado.edu or fill out the form under the “Ask” button on Prometheus. Thank you!

So far, the new platform looks good, Roger and Ami.
However:
- does it allow html in commets?
- it’s nice to see that old posts (which have a wealth of information) have been kept, but it looks like any links that we might have had to old posts are now broken. Is that something that you are considering a fix for?
- it would be useful if we can get a link in the right column to recent comments.
Regards,
Tom

Tom- I’ve put in a request to see if we can get the most recent comments on the right nav. Everything is much better, good work Ami!!

Tom,
You can enter links into comments: http://mises.org/Community/blogs/tokyotom/default.aspx. On your test it did not work because there is no space in between the colon and the letter “h” for the link.
I am also looking into restoring the rest of the thread on the last Swindle post and will see about adding recent comments to the right column.
Thank you for your feedback! Ami

Hi Roger,
Is it really the case that all links to past article, even though they have been preserved, will remain broken?
Congratulations on the new look!
