Not to disagree, (see how nice I am) but the attempt to gag Hansen is a political issue, so how can Boehlert politicize a political issue?

I was just returning the tongue-in-cheekiness to you comment. I don’t think that Boehlert’s Republican-ness is here or there on this particular issue. He is clearly politicizing the issue, which I think falls under his job description, but recklessly? No.

Hold on; are you really saying that Boehlert *isn’t* `recklessly politicising this issue’ *because* he is a Republican? Perhaps you could clarify how exactly Boehlert’s being a Republican affects your position on what he says in this science-policy-interface question.
