  1. Are the students paid for their internship?

    Pay is negotiated between the intern and the company, however, we make the recommendation to the companies that the pay be 5K for the summer, along with any travel expenses.

  2. Are the internship dates set or are they negotiable?

    This also would be determined by the company administering the internship.  However, we expect that start/end dates will be negotiable.

  3. Where will the internship be held? Will it be in Boulder, in Colorado, or in other city?

    Location depends on job/intern placement.

  4. Do the recommendation letters have to be from professors?

    Recommendation letters can be from anyone.

  5. If a student is selected by a company for an internship and the student and company cannot reach an agreement of terms, does the student still have the chance to not work for the company?  Will the student be charged anything?

    The student is not under any obligation to accept the internship and there will not be any penalty fee associated.

  6. When will the selection period end? When will applicants know the results?

    We select the students and match them up with the appropriate company based on their field areas.  The student selection period will end March 31, 2004.  Interested companies will conduct the interviews and make internship decisions by April 15, 2004.
