Beth earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Dakota Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of South Dakota. She came to CU in October of 2009 as the JILA Chief of Operations; after nearly twenty years as a college chief finance/administrative leader. During that time Beth provided senior leadership to a wide range of areas including physical plant, human resources, risk management, financial aid and IT in addition to the financial operations of all areas. She has assumed major roles in institutional master planning, strategic planning, accreditation, policy development and emergency planning.

Now, Beth's work at JILA which is a partnership between the federal government (NIST) and CU is providing some unique perspectives and has piqued her curiosity about governmental policy, strategies and priorities.
