Beth Mulligan

Beth Mulligan received her B. A. in Psychology and Cognitive Science from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and her M. A. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research interests concern how individuals acquire information and then use that information to make decisions. She is currently studying a number of topics in decision making and text comprehension, including causal reasoning ability, cognitive fatigue effects in text processing, and inferencing mechanisms. Her doctoral research investigates processes that become active after failures of comprehension.
