Ryan Harp is a PhD student in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC) department interested in societally relevant climate change impacts and science policy. His research investigates the effects of climate change, particularly changing temperature patterns, on US violent crime rates. He holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin where he double-majored in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and Psychology.
