Transportation to and from Oslo International Airport to Hotel

The quickest and most convenient way to get from the airport to the hotel is on the Airport Express Train, called Flytoget (tel: +47 815 00 777). Flytoget leaves from inside the Oslo Airport terminal building 70 meters to the right after leaving the custom area in the arrival hall. The train takes you downtown Oslo Central Station in 19 minutes and leaves every 10 minutes. The train costs about 20 USD per person and the ticket needs to be purchased before getting on the train. There are 3 ways to purchase a ticket.

1. There are ticket machines in the arrival hall and all accept international credit cards
2. There is a manned ticket booth for those who prefer to avoid machinery
3. Swipe one's credit card at the barrier. However, this is not recommended for people who are expecting to get their ticket costs refunded as one does not get a receipt unless one registers before hand on the homepage.

Once you arrive at the Oslo Central station, you can take a cab to the hotel. It is about a 20 minute distance walking but after a long flight, a taxi may be a better option.

Meeting Location

All days of the workshop will be held at the Norwegian Research Council which is located at Stensbergsgata 26. NRC is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel (circa 10 minutes).
