Arielle Tozier de la PoterieIntegrated Risk Management Associates |
Arielle is an interdisciplinary policy analyst and social scientist, with a PhD in Environmental Studies from University of Colorado, Boulder. She currently works as a Research Consultant for Integrated Risk Management Associates and as a Research Delegate for the German Red Cross in Maputo, Mozambique. Her expertise is in applied research for development, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk reduction programs, with a particular focus on climate services, participatory assessments, and the relationship between information and decision-making. She has consulted on research for UNDP, UNICEF, USAID, and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. During her studies at CU, she was a graduate-intern in Uganda as part of CSTPR’s Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre Internship Program in 2013. Since then, she has supported the selection, placement, and training of Red Cross interns. In her capacity as a Red Cross Delegate in Mozambique, she supports the Red Cross Internship Program, drawing on her continued experience with the Red Cross network to help place and provide guidance to interns in the field.
