Sarah is a PhD student in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado and a Senior Program Specialist at START, where her work is focused on understanding and enhancing human and institutional capacities to effectively respond to critical global environmental change challenges. Sarah has a keen interest in collaborative governance, learning processes, social-ecological resilience, and participatory research methods. She holds a M.S. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and a B.S. in Environmental Communication from Colorado State University.
