Climate Change and Effects on the Energy Industry (80 minutes presentation, 45 minutes discussion) Dr. Roger Pielke, Jr., University of Colorado Professor in the Environmental Studies Program and a Fellow of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) will discuss with the Commission science and policy issues of programs to address climate change in the energy industry in the United States and Colorado. As a part of this discussion, the Commission will hear perspectives on the impacts of climate change in the electricity generation and supply sector, the oil & gas production sector and the environmental conservation sector.
