On February 24 Roger Pielke, Jr. gave a talk at the World Bank's PREM Seminar Series on his book The Climate Fix. This talk is available to watch online.
On February 4, David Goldston, Director of Government Affairs at the Natural Resources Defense Council, gave a distinguished lecture "Loving Science to Death: Problems at the Intersection of Science and Policy" at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, University of Colorado Boulder. A video of his talk will be made available soon on CSTPR's Multimedia webpage.
On December 14 the Office of Science & Technology (OST) at the Embassy of Austria hosted a "bridges Lecture Series" to discuss Roger A. Pielke Jr.'s new book The Climate Fix. Roger was joined by experts David Goldston (Natural Resources Defense Council) and Alexander Ochs (Wordwatch Institute), to discuss the challenge of addressing climate change effectively from a US, European, and global perspective. In December 2010 Maxwell Boykoff and Benjamin Hale participated in panel discussions at The Sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP16) on "Covering Climate in a Changing Media Climate" and "Climate Change and Cities: Science for adaptation and mitigation".
